After Sales Technician – Spanish Speaker (m/f)

We are looking for an After Sales Technician for the Spanish Market to join Invacare, a Medical Devices multinational company.

Responsibility:

  • Receive, prepare, repair, pack and ship products claim by Spanish market after analyses and decision if under or out of warranty;
  • Send quotations to Spanish dealers for repairs;
  • Follow up complaints, RAN procedures and CRM indications under company requirements;
  • Follow up issues with customers and manage inconsistencies with third parties: transport, customer services, etc.
  • Make the necessary registrations and movements in ERP system;
  • Contribute to Invacare’s overall outstanding performance and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications (education, experience and skills):

  • High School Education, preferably as in general mechanics area or similar;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a an after sales/ repair position;
  • Fluent spoken Spanish and an excellent standard of written Spanish are required (mandatory);
  • Basic spoken and written English skills;
  • Autonomous, dynamic and voluntary person;
  • Organized and rigorous mind, with good analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and social skills and customer focus.

Quality Technical Assistant (m/f)

We are looking for a Quality Technical Assistant for the Spanish Market to join our Medical Devices multinational company.

Responsibility:

  • Contact with Spanish customers for returns, quality feedback and follow-up of claims;
  • Supervise checking returns, RAN´s, complains & other information related to Spanish market quality complains;
  • Check products or packaging upon receipt or returns for the Spanish market;
  • Arrange regular reviews and set up action plans if necessary;
  • Maintain and communicate with the team and logistics on monthly KPI’s;
  • Ensure follow up of the complaint with closure of each process and reports to dealers if necessary.


Qualifications (education, experience and skills):

  • High School;
  • 2 years of experience in a similar function;
  • Fluent English (mandatory) and Spanish intermediate level (preferable);
  • Technical oriented, knowledge of quality management processes is a plus;
  • Good PC-User knowledge including Windows Office and ERP;
  • Demonstrated team work skills;
  • Autonomy, rigor and organization skills.

Project Leader & Design & Development Engineer (m/f)

The R&D Center in Porto is charged with creating new products for Invacare EMEA. You’ll join our growing team of engineers and give engineering support in all aspects of design as well as ensure the achievement of project objectives. Are you ready to change the world of mobility as we know it?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team and ensure the effective use of resources to satisfy customer needs;
  • Take overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of Therapeutic Support Services projects;
  • Collaborate effectively with other R&D and sustaining engineering teams to enable product development according to the requirements;
  • Provide sustaining engineering support to existing products helping on-going cost reduction and product improvement;
  • Guarantee documentation and production, safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications (education, experience and skills):
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related;
  • 4 to 10 years of experience as a Design & Dev Engineer or experience in a similar position with foam and/or mattress;
  • Schooling or training on R&D procedures and Quality Management Systems;
  • Knowledge of textile materials (preference);
  • Fluent English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus;
  • Effective communication and leadership skills;
  • Broad business view and financial acumen - aware of the impact of decisions on business performance & profitability.

Technical Editor (m/f)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on time technical documentation, such as user manuals, service manuals, mounting instructions or labels, for the assigned product categories;
  • Follow internal and external standards, based on the regulations for medical devices;
  • Perform change and approval process for new revisions and have the changes documented;
  • Coordinate translations to all required local languages.
  • Participate in risk assessment;
  • Collaborate in further developing both process and content, to improve the overall quality of user documentation.

Qualifications (education, experience and skills):
  • Degree in Technical Documentation, Technical Communication or Engineering;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical writer / technical editor;
  • Excellent English, verbal and written;
  • Basic experience with translation management;
  • Strong computer skills, mainly on MS Office, Illustrations/Drawings, XML Editor, DTP.
  • Experience with structured content and CMS;
  • Aware of legislation & regulatory requirements, basic knowledge of the CE-marking rules;
  • Detail-oriented approach.
